    Product Description

This product is an answer to every gamer that was looking for the performance of the Avago 3310 sensor in an ergonomic mouse. The new ec1-a and ec2-a series keeps the same shape and size from the original EC series and introduces the Avago 3310 sensor just like the FK series. After releasing mice with different surfaces, ZOWIE gear understood that most people prefer the coating used in the FK and EC EVO CL lines and as such the new EC line will also use this coating. The mouse is plug and play (no drivers needed) and has a low-lift off distance, signature features of all ZOWIE mice.

Nice, basic, gets the job done, but not worth the price tag

Nice, basic, gets the job done, but not worth the price tag
I spent a long time trying to decide if this was going to be my next mouse or not. I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase this. I bought it mainly based on its dimensions because I wanted something similar to my Logitech g500 and this has nearly identical dimensions. The sensor works great the mouse buttons feel good. I don't use a side buttons that often so I don't have a personal preference of how they feel sure they feel a little soft but it's not the end of the world. My real complaint about this though is that there is no third party software to go along with it I'm not a huge fan of being strictly stuck on the DPI settings that come with it. It also feels a little cheap and flimsy but I know that's not the case I'm just used to having max weight in my Logitech mice. After I spent about 10 hours using it on Counter Strike Global Offensive I finally got it calibrated to where I liked it and use it as my main mouse for the time being. However I just can't justify the price behind this mouse. Sure it works exactly like its supposed to and I haven't had any issues with it yet but paying $80 for a mouse is a little absurd when it comes with less features than anything that is $30 less.So I guess if you want a no frills, cut and dry, high quality hardware gaming mouse, this would be a good way to go. I personally am more of a fan of Logitech mice but I wanted to give this a try after reading so many reviews on them. I was hoping for a night and day difference but was let down unfortunately. My previously owned mice have included Logitech g500, g9x, and g402.****8/29/2016 Update* A little over a year later and 0 issues with it. I've gotten over the whole no 3rd party software stuff and just make all my adjustments ingame now. Since I've bought it it has taken hundreds of hours of abuse via CSGO, DA:I, GwmF and a lot of other point and spam left click games. Never lets me down, buttons all work fine, no scroll wheel issues, finally changed the mouse skates about a month ago and didn't realize how worn down the other ones had gotten. All I can say is that if you can get it for $60 or less then don't hesitate. This will most likely be the only brand I use from here on out when it comes to my gaming mice. Really hoping I can start getting into some of the smaller variations like the FK1, Final Mouse, maybe the Scream edition one but I won't start looking into that until this one fails me and it looks like it's going to be a while before that happens.
